We're not American: we don't have to win all the time

So, regardless of my lack of blogging lately I'm gonna talk to you about my summer music. What's been stuck on repeat for most of the day? What videos are nang nang nang?

So where to start?

I guess a 'welcome back' is in order for the Arctic Monkeys whose new video is out. Crying lightning is the first track released off their third album. It took me a few times to listen through it, but after that I can happily say it's a real good song. Different but good. Looking forward to hearing the new album.

Next, Florence and the machine. A band that everyone seems to like them. or at least have a favourite....Rabbit Heart (Raise it up).
If you were wondering.
You can't help but love Florence and her people.

My current favourite video of this summer has to be by the German named Scots Franz Ferdinand. The video for Can't stop feeling really good and just a fun video. Simple concept. Still really good. And of course not to mention, a pretty good song as well. Slidey transitions makes Rohan shhhmmmmiiiiiiiillllle.

Busta Rhymes - Pass the Courvoisie Absolutely class track.
Epic video. And oldie. But you can't hate it. Don't know why but I've been obsessed with this song since I've been back from uni.

Jamie T's latest single has been out since the beginning of summer but in truth, I've only just gotten into it. It's a slight change from songs like Sheila and If you got the money, but I've come to like its upbeat..ness. And as ever with Jamie T, lovely lyrics about general teenage life and coping with raging hormones being nullified by the binge drinking lifestyle.

Cee-lo and Danger Mouse make up Gnarls Barkley and the two of their albums: St. Elsewhere and The Odd Couple are both nang. A sick combination soul, r'n'b and rock makes them a class act.

With it being summer and there being quite the music festivals being shown on tv there was one band, quite an old band but one I did forget about for a while. Yea, The specials. Who else would I be talking 'bout. Here's one of their classics Ghost Town.

Lastly, it's Kasabian. Fire is just a brilliant track. Nuff said.

Thank you and good night.

A little bit of magic from that man

I've been so terrible with blogging lately. I shall do an update now and then tomorrow I shall do a proper one and do a catch up of peoples blogs.
Haven't really be doing much lately. There's been very little work going. I've also been so so so tired. I've easily been asleep for 18 hours today not good. And as sad as it s. I'm off to bed again.

"Ronaldo is the epitome of modern celebrity. People are obsessed and infatuated by him, but nobody seems to like him very much."

After going through a minor internet wipe out from Friday to today I really began to cherish the hour or so I got a day online while at my aunts house.

I think this one'll just be an update.

Parents have left for grandfather's funeral.
Two weeks at home, just myself and Tanya.
Some sorta house gathering will take place. With some uni people.
Work is good.
Just returned from watching Bruno... Nuff said.
Just trying to work as much as possibly at the moment. Need to gain monies for my uni return.

I think it may be bed time now. Ok. Bye.

Turn up the sun - It's getting chilly back here.

It's amazing how when there's no football on I get so into other sports as if they just don't exist throughout the year.
Believe me I was jumping up and down screaming while watching the English and Irish Lions beat South Africa.
I'm now a tennis freak.
Regardless of it all football stories still dominate the back pages of newspapers.

United signed Michael Owen. Real Madrid dominate the market by splashing out £30m on Karim Benzema. Glen Johnson leaves Portsmouth for Liverpool. Arsenal have offered £21m for Felipe Melo. Chelsea have all but signed Yuri Zhirkov. Tevez and Eto'o could both move to Manchester City. Oh what wonderful headlines to keep a football happy.

I'd imagine most of you woulda been totally lost in the last paragraph. Ah well.

Update.
- WORKSLEEPWORKSLEEPWORKSLEEPWORKSLEEPWORKSLEEPWORKSLEEPWORKSLEEP.
- Currently cruising at peak sober levels - expect a sharp decline shortly.
- My sister's drunk friends are destroying the house.
- Missed latest episode of house due to work.
- Tiredness sucks.
